The Scheduler feature, exclusively available in SpyZooka Pro, provides seamless automation of SpyZooka's exceptional functionalities to enhance the security and optimization of your PC.

The Scheduler is designed to be intelligent in managing your settings. If you happen to schedule two features to run simultaneously, the Scheduler ensures that the first feature completes before initiating the second one, optimizing the execution order for a smooth experience.

Enabling each feature is as simple as clicking the Enable button, granting you full access to customize their settings. Conversely, clicking Disable turns off the automated features, giving you manual control.

Please note that for the Scheduler to execute the automated features, your computer must be turned on. However, we offer options to handle situations when your computer is turned off, ensuring flexibility and convenience in scheduling tasks.

Update - Software & Spyware

When the 'Update' feature is enabled, SpyZooka automatically downloads the latest software version and spyware updates. We release new versions of SpyZooka on a monthly basis, while spyware updates are released daily. By enabling automatic updates, you ensure that you have the most up-to-date SpyZooka Pro software version and the latest spyware protection.

If your computer is turned off, the Scheduler will automatically check for updates 10 minutes after you turn it on, ensuring that you don't miss out on important updates.

All updates are seamlessly handled in the background without any notification, allowing you to continue using your computer uninterrupted. SpyZooka silently performs the necessary updates, ensuring that your software and spyware definitions are always current.

Scan

Automates your SpyZooka Pro scans. You can set SpyZooka to automatically scan starting on a set date and a set number of days after your initial date.

Please note that in order to clean your browsers they must be closed. SpyZooka's Scheduler for the Scan will automatically close your browsers and clean them at the time you set. We recommend choosing a time you are not actively using your browsers, or use some of the advanced features within Scheduler to only scan your computer when it's idle.

Auto scans will run a scan for all the items you have selected in the main Scan screen. Simply un-select items in the Scan screen and they will not be scanned during your scheduled scans.

Start On > here you select the date and time you want the first scheduled scan to run.

Scan every > this option selects the time in days after the date above you want the scan to run. So to run the scan on the same day every week simply select "7".

Scan - drop down box - here you can select these options:

  1. Runs automatically and removes all issues found > this runs an automatic scan at the time you set and removes all issues found automatically.

  2.  Runs automatically and displays results for manual removal > completes a scan and displays the SpyZooka Pro scan results screen with all issues found. You can choose to close SpyZooka Pro (which removes no issues found) or remove some or all of the items detected in the scan.

  3. Displays notification to manually start scan >  displays a notification in the bottom right corner of your computer screen at the time you set. You can choose to run the scan at that time or close the notification and no scan will be performed.

Only auto scan when computer is idle > selecting this feature will run the auto scan at the time you select only if the computer is idle. If you are actively using your computer the scan will not run.

When PC is off at set time > This drop down decides what to do if your computer is turned off at the time of a scheduled scan.

  1. Run scan automatically after PC startup > If your computer is turned off at the scheduled scan time your scan will run 10 minutes after you start your computer.

  2.  Display notification after PC startup to manually run scan > If your computer is turned off at the scheduled scan time SpyZooka Pro displays a notification in the bottom right corner of your computer screen upon your next computer startup. You can choose to close the notification and nothing else happens or to run the scan from the notification.

  3. Do nothing and run scan at next time scheduled > if your computer is turned off at the scheduled scan time this will run a SpyZooka Pro scan at the next scheduled scan time.

Registry Tuneup

Automates running SpyZooka's registry tuneup feature to defragment your computer's registry and keep it running like new!

We recommend running the registry tuneup once a month.

Start On > here you select the date and time you want the first scheduled registry tuneup to run.

Run registry tuneup every > this option selects the time in days after the date above you want the registry tuneup to run. So to run the registry tuneup on the same day every week simply select "7".

Registry tuneup - drop down box - here you can select these options:

  1. Runs and repairs issues found > this runs an automatic registry tuneup at the time you set and removes all issues found automatically.

  2.  Displays notification to run manual registry tuneup > displays a notification in the bottom right corner of your computer screen to remind you to run a Registry Tuneup.

Only run registry tuneup when computer is idle > selecting this feature will run the registry tuneup at the time you select only if the computer is idle. If you are actively using your computer registry tuneup will not run.

When PC is off at set time > This drop down decides what to do if your computer is turned off at the time of a scheduled registry tuneup.

  1. Run registry tuneup automatically after PC startup > If your computer is turned off at the scheduled scan time your scan will run at the next time you startup your computer.

  2.  Display notification after PC startup to manually run registry tuneup > If your computer is turned off at the scheduled scan time SpyZooka Pro displays a notification in the bottom right corner of your computer screen upon your next computer startup. You can choose to close the notification and nothing else happens or to run the registry tuneup from the notification.

  3. Do nothing and run registry tuneup at next time scheduled > if your computer is turned off at the scheduled registry tuneup time this will run a registry tuneup scan at the next scheduled registry tuneup time.

Uninstaller

Automates SpyZooka's proprietary real time uninstaller to monitor for programs that leave leftover files on your computer upon uninstall.

Often when a program is uninstalled the default uninstaller leaves unwanted files and registry entries in your computer. Or an uninstaller can become corrupted and completely fail to uninstall a program. This is where SpyZooka's Uninstaller shines and solves your uninstall problems!

SpyZooka's uninstaller detects leftover entries every time you remove a program from Windows built in uninstaller and removes leftover entries.

Uninstaller automates this functionality with two options:

  1. Automatically removes leftover entries after uninstall > this automatically uninstalls all leftover files and registry entries from your computer when using Windows built in uninstaller

  2. Shows incomplete uninstall notification for manual removal > Displays a notification when you uninstall a program using Windows built in uninstaller and there are leftover files or registry entries. You can choose to manually remove those leftover files and registry entries or close the notification and do nothing

Alternatively you can use SpyZooka's uninstaller to remove the entire program including all files and registry entries. This works even when the programs built in uninstaller becomes corrupted and no longer works.

Drive Shredder

Automates drive shredder at the time you select to secure your computer.

Start On > here you select the date and time you want the first scheduled drive shredder to run.

Run drive shredder every > this option selects the time in days after the date above you want the registry tuneup to run. So to run the registry tuneup on the same day every week simply select "7".

Drive > here you select the drive you want shredded at the selected time.

Shred

  1. Shred empty space only > this shreds the empty space on your hard drive selected. This leaves all files, folders, pictures, movies and everything else on your computer and does not delete them. This is useful to shred remaining files that you previously deleted and do not want to be recovered by anyone.

  2.  Shred full drive > this shreds the entire drive and all contents on the drive. If you choose this option all files, folders, pictures, movies and everything else on your drive will be permanently deleted and will not be able to be recovered.

Overwrites > choose your preferred overwrite option in the drop down. We go more in depth about SpyZooka's Overwrite options

Only run drive shredder when computer is idle > You can also select to only shred a drive when your computer is idle. If you select this option and you are actively using your computer at the time you set this to run, the shredder will not run.

When PC is off at set time > This drop down decides what to do if your computer is turned off at the time of a scheduled drive shred.

  1. Run drive shredder automatically after PC startup > If your computer is turned off at the scheduled drive shred time your drive shred will run at the next time you startup your computer.

  2.  Display notification after PC startup to manually run drive shredder > If your computer is turned off at the scheduled drive shred time SpyZooka Pro displays a notification in the bottom right corner of your computer screen upon your next computer startup. You can choose to close the notification and nothing else happens or to run the drive shred from the notification.

  3. Do nothing and run drive shredder at next time scheduled > if your computer is turned off at the scheduled drive shred time this will run a SpyZooka Pro drive shred at the next scheduled time.
